Affiliated to the North Midlands Area of NAFAS Registered Charity No 1101348

Our aim is to encourage the love of flowers with an atmosphere of fun and friendship.  Members are offered a full programme of demonstrations, workshops and classes, and actively take part in local, Area and National events, including competitions, exhibitions and flower festivals.

Over the years we have supported many charities: in 2017 Sands, 2016, Thorpe Hall (Sue Ryder Hospice),  Down’s Syndrome Association in 2015,  and in 2018 we are fundraising  for the Evergreen Care Trust.

No flower arranging skills are necessary – we invite you to come along, sit back and enjoy watching the very talented floral designers produce wonderful arrangements that are raffled off to lucky members of the audience.

We meet on the 2nd Monday of every month (except January) at Barn Hill Methodist Church, Stamford, PE9 2AE. Doors open at 7.00pm for coffee with the demonstrations starting at 7.30pm. Our yearly Subscription is £32.00. Visitors are always welcome to attend our meetings, and pay £6.00 entry fee per meeting.

The Club currently has over 100 members, but we are always delighted to enrol new people, and are equally pleased to welcome visitors to our meetings. All age groups will be given a warm welcome.

Stamford Flower Club

Stamford Flower Club was founded in October 1956 and was formerly known as Stamford Floral Arrangement Society until 2014.  We belong to NAFAS (National Association of Flower Arranging Societies) and are affiliated to the North Midlands Area.

Stamford Flower Club will be showcasing the talents of its members as well as raising money for a couple of charities.

The title of the festival is ‘Stamford Past and Present’.  We will be celebrating the unique history of the town along with present day achievements in artistic and stunning floral displays.  Themes will include: the Market and Fair, Georgian Stamford, Farming, Wool Trade, Theatre, and many more.

So if you are in Stamford between 14th - 16th September 2018, do drop in.
